We’re thrilled to announce that Audubon Zoo is open!
Due to State and City reopening guidelines, all Zoo admission, including Member admission, must be reserved online in advance for a specific date and entry time. You can find more information about how to purchase tickets on our ticketing website and changes to your Zoo visit experience due to State and City reopening guidelines on our reopening website.
Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, and Audubon Nature Center remain closed to the public, and we do not yet have a timeline for reopening. Please follow Audubon on social media and check back here for more updates as the phased reopening of New Orleans continues.
Located in historic Uptown New Orleans Audubon Zoo cares for animals from around the globe, engaging educational programs, and hands-on animal encounters. Unique natural habitats such as the award-winning Louisiana Swamp and Jaguar Jungle showcase the relationship between people and nature. Don't miss the daily animal presentations, chats and feeds; our highly endangered whooping cranes, Amur leopards, and orangutans; our tiger; and our mysterious white alligators. Audubon Zoo is consistently one of the country’s top-ranked zoos, voted as one of the top ten zoos in the country in the USA Today “10Best” reader poll and ranked as one of the top things to do in New Orleans.
