Animal’s Behavior
Mainly solitary except during breeding season, bobcats (Lynx rufus) mark their territory with urine, feces and anal gland secretions.

Eating Habits
Bobcats are ambush hunters, eating mainly rabbits and hares but hunting prey up to ten times its own bodyweight.

Prevalent from Canada all the way into Mexico, including most of the United States.

Conservation Efforts
Although bobcats are hunted for their pelts, the species is listed as one of Least Concern.
