Virtual Realty at Audubon Zoo

Currently featuring the Gorilla Trek Experience & Swimming with Humpbacks

Have you ever dreamed of coming face to face with a gorilla or taking a dive with a humpback whale and her baby. Now’s the time to make that dream a reality...virtually.

Put on your headset, sit back in the motion seats, and be immersed in a world of critically-endangered mountain gorillas or Humpback whales. Deep in the forest, frolicking baby gorillas play under their mother’s watchful eyes. The alpha silverback protects and controls the family as subordinate males vie for leadership. With only 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the world, you’ll be glad you made this strenuous but remarkable trek. Get a rare glimpse and insight into one of the most mysterious creatures on the planet, the giant Humpback whale.

These VR experiences are educational fun for explorers of all ages.
