Monkey around in the World of Primates with gorillas, lemurs and mandrills.
The Zoo’s World of Primates exhibit features the western lowland gorillas (always a crowd favorite), striking lemurs, loud siamang, mandrills, and active golden lion tamarins.
Visit the gorilla troop! Okpara, a 24-year old male silverback gorilla is the newest member joining Tumani, a 10-year-old female Western lowland gorilla, and Praline, a female who is the last gorilla born at Audubon Zoo 21 years ago. The new Audubon gorilla troop may not be visible to the public for a time as Okpara, Tumani, and Praline engage in a structured introduction process to ensure they bond socially.
