An engaging new wetlands exhibit sponsored by the New Orleans Pelicans.

The new Pelicans' Nest, located in the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit, features engaging exhibitry and fun activities designed to educate guests about the challenges facing our wetlands while empowering them to make a difference. 

This exhibit is open Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 4pm.

Play the Pelicans' Quest for the Coast interactive video game and sign a pledge to help protect the wetlands. There are also native animal encounters, storytelling and crawfish inquiry activities. The Louisiana Swamp Exhibit at Audubon Zoo has received national acclaim for the innovative portrayal of Louisiana culture. It has been one of the most popular attractions in the history of the Zoo as it explores the relationships between the Cajun people, plants and animals of the swamp, in food, industry and daily life.
