Virtual Education Programs

Get into nature online with Audubon Nature Institute's virtual education programs. Interact in real-time with Audubon educators and live animals using streaming video conferencing to discover new things about the world around you. Each program combines science topics aligned with Louisiana state science standards, and offers opportunities to ask questions throughout the presentation.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY VIRTUAL PROGRAM?

Interact in-real time with educators and live animals with streaming video conferencing as you discover wondrous new things about the world around you. Audience members will have opportunities to ask questions and interact with educators throughout the program. Meeting login information and instructions will be sent to the group leader upon completion of registration.

$100 per program (maximum of 35 participants)
Free for Louisiana Title 1 Schools*

Hardware/Software Requirements: 
Technology Required (Hardware):
Laptop/computer/tablet/Chromebook, reliable internet, webcam, microphone and speakers.

Technology Preferred (Software):
Access to Zoom Video Conferencing through Google Chrome 53.0.2785 or higher, Internet Explorer 10 or higher, Microsoft Edge 38.14393.0.0 or higher, Safari 10.0.602.1.50 or higher, Firefox 49.0 or higher

*Thanks to the support of Shell, Chevron and the New Orleans’ Pelicans, Title 1 schools in Louisiana are eligible for free programming in the 2020-2021 school year. This includes up to 1 free visit to each K-8th classroom. Schools with Title 1 Targeted Assistance Programs will receive a 10% discount.

Programs are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Availability is limited.

Please request your program at least three weeks prior to your preferred date.

Live virtual programs are available Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. (additional times may be available).
