She and her family have been longtime supporters of Audubon Nature Institute—her mother also served as a past member of the Audubon Nature Institute Board, and Linda previously served as treasurer of the Audubon Nature Institute Board has been serving on the Audubon Nature Institute Foundation Board since 2003. In addition to boards, she has also served Audubon as an Audubon Commissioner, as a member of multiple Zoo-To-Do committees, and as an Honorary Chair of Zoo-To-Do in 2003. She has a robust history of civic service in New Orleans, having volunteered with Touro Hospital and her children’s schools as well as served on the boards of Isidore Newman School, St. George's, and Temple Sinai in addition to managing her husband’s medical practice and public speaking engagements for 40 years Audubon Park is Linda’s favorite place in New Orleans—she grew up only blocks away and has made sure to stay equally close throughout her life. She has fond memories of running up and down Audubon Zoo’s Monkey Hill as a child, then playing on the swings and slides in the Park with her children, and now watching her grandchildren form lifelong memories in the same place that has been so formative to her. She enjoys visiting the Zoo’s elephant habitat with her six-year-old grandson and is passionate about supporting Audubon’s ability to educate the next generation about the importance of wildlife and conservation.
