An attorney since 1992, Julie Quinn was elected in 2005 to serve in the Louisiana State Senate, representing New Orleans and a surrounding 4-parish area, chairing the Judiciary Committee and receiving numerous “Legislator of the Year” awards.

In 2001, she was elected to the Jefferson Parish School Board where she founded the first magnet school in that parish. Julie has been an Adjunct Professor at Loyola School of Law, teaching “Legislative Process and Intent,” and has been Continuing Legal Education speaker to lawyers on the subject. Her civic contributions over the years have been numerous, but her passion and focus is electing qualified public servants, campaigns and politics. Julie maintains a full-time law practice at Quinn Law and is the mother of two boys, ages 14 and 12.
