Mr. John Davies is the Executive Chairman of the Commercial Properties Management Company. Davies grew up in Latin America as the son of an American diplomat stationed in Lima, Peru, and attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville, graduating with a bachelor's degree in political science. Mr. Davies previously served on the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (Harvard) Board of Advisors.

He was the president and CEO of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation for 33. During his tenure, the organization grew from $5 million to $375 million in assets.

Mr. Davies continues to serve as the as chairperson of the Wilbur Marvin Foundation, a supporting nonprofit of BRAF and is the founding director of the Community Foundations of America.

Mr. Davies admires what Audubon has done in so many different areas to enrich the lives or those of us living in south Louisiana and how Audubon Park and loves the park and how it connects the various animal components. Mr. Davies and his wife Linda have two grown children, Morgan and Llewellyn.
