Ranger On Duty! 

Nature Center Rangers act as your personal nature concierge, recommending trails in and around the nature center based on your needs, as well as providing tips and tricks for observing and appreciating Louisiana’s native habitats. Let them be your resource for all your nature and wildlife questions. Be sure to report your observations to the Rangers when you return from your adventure.

Guide & SEEK (all ages)

Novice naturalists can join a ranger or master naturalist to discover the biodiversity the nature center has to offer while collecting real scientific data. After a quick introduction to SEEK, an app by iNaturalist, you’ll use your own smartphone to take pictures of your discoveries and record your findings. Guided trips start at the breezeway. Download the app ahead of time or just follow along.
