Audubon Louisiana Nature Center is famous for its nature trails, a true wilderness experience in the middle of a New Orleans East neighborhood. Louisiana has a unique forest ecosystem, and there is ample opportunity to learn about it on the boardwalk and primitive trails. Along these paths guests are surrounded by various ecosystems full of native Louisiana wildlife, offering exciting new discoveries as each season turns.

  • Boardwalk: Approximately one mile long. Handicapped accessible.
  • Adventure Trail: This is a primitive trail with rustic scenery. It is the longest trail about .8 miles one way or 1.3 miles if you take the boardwalk on the return trip.
  • Discovery Trail: A primitive trail with a small bridge. Length is a .3 mile loop.
