Everglades Crawfish

Animal Facts

Unlike the Red Swamp Crawfish on which people dine, the Everglades Crawfish isn't rarely blue - it is always blue!

Range

This species ranges from central to southern Florida, occupying wetlands such as prairie marshes and small streams. They have a preference for freshwater systems, but can also be found in areas that are somewhat brackish.
