Celebración Latina

October 2018
Audubon Zoo
10am - 5pm

Celebración Latina at the Zoo's Capital One Stage and Field will offer a true taste of the Latin American culture with live music, children’s activities and authentic Latin cuisine prepared and sold by local restaurants. Zoo guests can purchase delicious dishes offered by Taceaux Loceaux, La Concinita, and Celina’s.

Guests can also visit with Community Partners to receive free wellness and social service information. Young people of all ages can experience a live animal encounter, and create a special take home souvenir at our Kids Tent!

All visitors can take part in a special tribute to Pan-American Life Insurance Group, as we celebrate the company’s work in the Latin American community; and everyone can learn to Salsa with lessons presented by Ritmeaux Krewe.

Celebración Latina is presented by the Stone Center for Latina American Studies, and sponsored in part by Pan-American Life Insurance Group, Jefferson Financial Credit Union, Marathon Petroleum, Tulane Center for Public Service and Ron Austin & Associates. WWNO is once again the proud media sponsor for Celebración Latina.

The festival is free with Zoo admission or membership. No outside food, beverages, or tents allowed. Portable chairs and blankets are welcomed.

Thank you to our 2017 Sponsors!
