Caryn Rodgers-Battiste
Audubon Nature Institute Board Member
Caryn Rodgers-Battiste is Vice President of Operations for Bright Moments LLC, a public relations, marketing and advertising firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from University of Louisiana. In addition to the Audubon Nature Institute Board, she also serves on the boards of Boys Hope, Girls Hope, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, and Crimestoppers Greater New Orleans (Emeritus). She also volunteers with Franklin Avenue Baptist Church.
Caryn is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is and has been affiliated with the United Negro College Fund, Contemporary Arts Center, No/Aids Task Force, Adams & Reese LLP Women Executive Network, and Children’s Hospital. She has been acknowledged by Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans with the 2013 President’s Award, Citibusiness 2003 Power Generation, YWCA Role Model, Gambit 40 under 40, spotlighted in the segment “Living Well,” Metropolitan Leadership Forum, and the USTA for Best Summer Education program.
In her free time, Caryn enjoys reading, traveling, playing tennis, dining out, and teaching the Bible. Before joining the Board, Caryn worked with Audubon for over a decade on the 2-day music festival “Soul Fest”. She has always loved how Audubon has been intentional about connecting with the community and hopes to contribute her community engagement experience to the board. Caryn is married to Todd Battiste.
