Board Member, Audubon Nature Institute Board
Frederic Theodore 'Ted' Le Clercq is a partner at Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles and practices labor and employment law, professional liability defense, civil rights litigation and constitutional law. He is the co-chair of the Labor & Employment Department for the firm. Civic involvement is very important to Mr. Le Clercq, who among other projects, has led a five-year effort to plant 282 live oaks along St. Charles Avenue, named one of the Top Ten Great Streets in America by the American Planning Association. The project, funded entirely by private donations, helped to offset damage done to the city's trees by Hurricane Katrina. In 2010, The New Orleans City Council presented Mr. Le Clercq with a proclamation honoring him for his work. Ted serves on several boards throughout New Orleans including the Louisiana Children’s Medical Center, Preservation Resource Center, St. Charles Avenue Association and the Washington & Lee University Louisiana Chapter.
