Caroline Calhoun
Board Member, Audubon Nature Institute
Caroline Calhoun is a community activist in New Orleans. She holds a degree from Tulane University and serves on boards for the Bureau of Governmental Research, the Isidore Newman School, New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Louise s. McGehee Alumni Board.
She was inspired to join the Audubon Nature Institute Board by Board Chair Poco Sloss’s love of Audubon and seeing the passion of legendary Audubon booster and her neighbor, Kitty Duncan, when she was growing up. When Caroline is not serving the community, she enjoys golf, art, travel, and spending time with her husband and two children—much of which is spent in Audubon Park and Zoo, especially at the Odenheimer Sea Lion Pool and the giraffe habitat.
