Beth Lambert is a visual artist and a lifelong New Orleanian. She is an art activist, civic activist, and volunteer, with a strong commitment to achieving philanthropic awareness and success.

Beth currently serves on the boards of Prospect New Orleans/US Biennial, Audubon Nature Institute, and the Material Institute (NOLA). She is a past board member of the Audubon Commission, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Arts Council of New Orleans, and past president of Trinity School Parent Group. She is a past chairman of Audubon Nature Institute’s Hancock Whitney Zoo-To-Do and has co-chaired fundraisers for: YAYA Young Aspirations Young Artists, the Contemporary Arts Center Sweet Arts NYC and New Orleans, the Garden District Association, ACNO Arts Awards, Trinity School, the Red Cross, and Prospect New Orleans. Beth is also a member of the Junior League of New Orleans and has served on fundraising committees for Lighthouse of the Blind, Newman School, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Ogden Museum, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, Young Audiences, Children’s Hospital, the Coffeen Nature Preserve (FL), and the Louisiana National MS Society.

Beth is passionate about all environmental issues concerning water, and the elephants are her favorite Audubon animals. She is married to attorney Hugh Lambert, and they have two married children and two grandchildren.
