Horticulture Volunteers

Volunteers help plant trees at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center.

Do you have a green thumb? Audubon Nature Institute boasts some of New Orleans’ most beautiful green spaces, which thrive with the help of horticulture volunteers. Horticulture volunteers not only work and learn as they garden and maintain Audubon’s public spaces—they help create and maintain sustainable, native ecosystems. Horticulture placements are available at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, and Audubon Zoo and Park. Get outside, get dirty, and celebrate the wonders of nature as a Horticulture volunteer.
