Adopt Me!

Your adoption supports Audubon’s animals and the dedicated staff who care for them while our doors are closed to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

As a non-profit, Audubon Nature Institute relies on ticket sales, events, and donations to support our mission of protecting the wonders of nature and sharing them with you. Your adoption is an important contribution to Audubon’s recovery effort, and we can’t thank you enough.

While we can’t welcome you to visit our animals right now, we hope you will stay connected to Audubon by visiting us on our website and social media to enjoy live animal care chats and find online learning resources through our Virtual Community Connect program.

All of us here at Audubon (especially the animals!) miss you and can’t wait to welcome you back soon!

Your symbolic animal adoption will help care for the more than 15,000 animals (including mammals, fish, birds, invertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, and insects) in Audubon's care. Because of your generosity, Audubon's animals enjoy the highest quality care, world-class exhibits and stimulating enrichment activities.

Adoptions are symbolic. All adoptable animals may have many adoptive parents and all adopt animals must remain in their Audubon homes.
