Amur Leopard

Audubon Zoo

Amur leopards are a critically endangered subspecies numbering at less than 50 in the wild. The Amur leopards at Audubon Zoo are part of the Species Survival Plan and Audubon has heralded the births of more than 12 leopard cubs since 1998. In addition to the efforts of our captive breeding program, Audubon Zoo has also made financial contributions to aid in habitat protection and in situ research of this magnificent animal.
